The anime adaptation of Touring After the Apocalypse officially confirmed an October 2025 release date. The announcement follows the recent reveal that included a teaser visual, trailer, and additional details on the production staff and cast.

The anime will feature Konomi Inagaki as Yoko and Miyu Tomita as Airi, voicing the main duo. Both are also featured on the first teaser visual:

Touring After the Apocalypse (Shumatsu Touring) follows the journey of two girls traveling across the remnants of Japan after an unspecified cataclysm. Despite the desolation surrounding them, Yoko and Airi take the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks, from Hakone’s hot springs to Tokyo Big Sight, turning the collapse of civilization into an unusual sightseeing adventure.
Touring After the Apocalypse is being produced with the involvement of Aniplex. The anime is based on Sakae Saito’s manga, which has been serialized in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh magazine since 2020. As of March 2025, seven volumes have been released. Yen Press licensed the manga in English.
